Yoga with Stephanie
Making Space for Grace
Stephanie Nasteff is celebrating her 20th year of yoga practice. Her classes are grounded in authenticity, humor, and the 20 years experience and love of the physical and spiritual practice of yoga. Stephanie’s teaching style is based in the ISTHA tradition (Integrated Science of Tantra, Hatha, & Aruyveda) with dynamic flow, held poses, focus on proper alignment, modifications for all levels & every BODY, breath work, and meditation. She took her very first yoga class during her first month in New York at Crunch Fitness on Lafayette Street in September 1998, and was forever changed. 3 years later, she began her 500 hour certification program at Yoga Zone/Be Yoga, under the instruction of Yogiraj Alan Finger, Master Teacher Jean Koerner, and Senior Teachers: Beverley Murphy, Rachel Zinman, and Kara Sekular, two days before the towers came down. It was a blessing to be an active member of the healing community in that tumultuous time, in the city. Teaching & practicing mindfulness, and transmitting the ancient practice of asana to a large community of stressed out New Yorkers gave her a feeling of purpose and joy. When her Voice Over career took off, she took a 14 year sabbatical from teaching, to focus on her acting career & motherhood. In the past year she has been led to start teaching again, to inspire people to prioritize self care, and share the gift of yoga with her community. Join Stephanie Wednesday nights this fall, and make some space for grace.
Next session will be announced soon…stay tuned!
